Jury for ADAMI Media Prize - Project Pitching has started in Cologne
 

Eight Projects from Six Eastern Partnership Countries to be Selected for TV Pitching

A jury of TV and media professionals from all over Europe came together in Cologne on 20 and 21 October to select the eight best projects for ADAMI’s new initiativea in 2021 – live TV pitching of production stage film, video and TV projects containing cultural diversity, ethnic or religious minorities, migration and integration themes.

The eight selected projects from Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Moldova and Ukraine will be announced on 25 October. They will pitch their projects on Georgian Public Broadcaster on 10 December in Tbilisi. From 1 November the projects will be posted for viewing on the ADAMI website. from 10 November through 10 December, everybody can vote for their favorite project on the website of the ADAMI Media Prize through crowdfunding, thereby directly supporting their realization.

Jury members of the ADAMI Media Prize – Project Pitching competition also had the chance to meet participants of the ADAMI Dialogue – TV Serials, a media conference attended by producers and broadcasting editors from the EU and the Eastern Partnership countries to discuss cultural diversity in TV series. The groups networked at the European Series Day events at the Cologne Film Festival.

Jury for the ADAMI Media Prize - Project Pitching Competition to Gather in Cologne During the Cologne Film Festival, 20-21 October

The ADAMI Media Prize - Project Pitching is going into the next round! From the numerous applications from all Eastern Partnership countries, only eight projects will be selected to participate in the TV pitching show on 10 December in Tbilisi, Georgia. Selected projects will have the chance to pitch their films, web video formats or TV shows to an audience throughout the Eastern Partnership Countries and the EU.

The selected projects will be announced by the end of October, 2021!

The ADAMI Media Prize for Cultural Diversity in Eastern Europe is calling for submissions of production-stage video content on cultural diversity from all six Eastern Partnership Countries!

Documentary films, news reports, fiction, web videos or TV shows – if you have an ongoing project to promote, if you love pitching your ideas to a big audience, want a chance to win a cash award and meet potential co-producers or investors - submit your project to the ADAMI Media Prize Project Pitching competition! You may be selected for our live TV-pitching show that will air on public TV stations across the Eastern Partnership countries!

Eight projects will be chosen by an international jury to pitch their video projects on live TV. Selected projects will be announced on 25 October 2021. The TV show will air on 10 December at 8 p.m. Georgia Standard Time (GET) from the Georgian Public Broadcaster in Tbilisi. Two prize-winning projects will be selected. One will be chosen during the TV show by an in-studio jury, and a second winner will be determined by popular vote on the website oft he ADAMI Media Prize. Voting will open on 1 November.


The application process starts on 6 September, and ends on 27 September, 2021!

ADAMI & Pitch the Doc Workshop has started in Kyiv
 

Filmmakers from Ukraine, Armenia, Georgia, Azerbaijan, Moldova and Belarus

Gather for 4 days in the Studios of Film.UA Group in Kyiv

During the workshop, directors and producers are developing new pitching strategies for marketing their documentary film projects to international decision makers via online platforms and networks. 

An international jury selected the film projects based on their cinematographic potential and cultural diversity content. Participants are tutored at the workshop by highly professional experts in the field: Dorota Roszkowska, Stephane Siohan, Frank Müller, Adam Paplinski and Joerg Langer. In addition, the workshop will contain online masterclasses by Vitali Manski („Putin’s Whitnesses“), Heleen Gerritsen (goEast Festival, Wiesbaden) and Agnieszka Rostropowicz-Rutkowska (Fine Day Promotion).

Application Period Open for Documentary Pitching Workshop in Kyiv, July 2021

The ADAMI Media Prize for Cultural Diversity in Eastern Europe is cooperating with the Polish documentary platform Pitch the Doc and Film.UA in Ukraine to conduct a four-day seminar for filmmakers on how to present a documentary film project, how to structure the film proposal, pitching package or project presentation, and how to efficiently pitch it to the international decision makers.

Participants will be coached by international experts, producers and executives of European film festivals. Filmmakers from Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Moldova and Ukraine are invited to apply for the workshop by submitting their documentary film projects on cultural diversity, ethnic/religious minorities or migration, at any production stage (only with available video material).

The workshop will include a maximum of 12 projects, with two participants per winning project (director and producer) selected to attend. The workshop participants' projects will be included into the Pitch the Doc online platform, representing an efficient tool to promote the work among international decision-makers.

The workshop will be held 27-30 July in the Film.UA Group studio in Kyiv, Ukraine.

Applications are being accepted from 17 May - 7 June!

The winning participants will be announced on 28 June.
